Hefei student’s inspiring university journey


An extraordinary journey of defying limitations, overcoming numerous challenges, and setting an example of a resilient individual with unwavering spirit in facing adversity, yet striving for her dreams, visually impaired Yu Xiaonan is a student from Hefei, Anhui province.


Celebrating tearfully upon her acceptance by Anhui University of Arts on Monday, Yu takes in this joyous moment to mark the culmination of her relentless determination and perseverance, especially as it came after her gruelling second attempt at the national college entrance exam, or gaokao.
