Elite couple shine at China's National Games for Persons with Disabilities

Zhou Feifei and his wife Dong Feixia cemented their places among the all-time great Paralympic athletes when Zhou created a new world record (39.99 meters) in his F55 discus competition on Saturday for the couple's third gold at the ongoing 11th China's National Games for Persons with Disabilities.

Zhou pocketed the F55 men's javelin gold medal on Friday, and Dong won the women's F55 discus title on the same day.

"We were informed of the final schedule on Thursday, after which we didn't talk about the competitions too much," Zhou told Xinhua.
