China expands information accessibility to benefit people with disabilities, older adults

China is extending information accessibility to more areas, particularly those closely related to the daily lives of people with disabilities and older adults, according to a report.

The report on the implementation of the Law on Building Accessible Environments was submitted on Tuesday to the ongoing session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the country's top legislature, for deliberation.

The report said accessible information and communication services have improved in both quality and coverage.
