Police officers in eastern China who followed a blind girl for more than 400 days and acted as her bodyguards have moved millions of mainland internet users.


Since the start of 2022, officers assigned to patrol Gulou subway station in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, have discretely shadowed the visually impaired teenage girl each time she passed through the station, the Ningbo Evening News reported.


Although the girl who carries only a small backpack and has a guide dog, the officers still accompanied her from the time she entered the station, one of the busiest in the city, until she was seen safely to the exit, the report said.
